These are the teachers that have helped with the robotics club these past few years. They teach the kids how to work as a team and show them responsibility. Mr. Rooney (left) is a physics teacher at Timken and has been with the robotics club for 4 years as well as Mr. Small (center) who teaches an Engineering class. Mr. Miller (right) joined the Robotics club 2 years ago and is in charge of programming the robot; he also teaches Video Game Programming at Timken. The robotics club wouldn't be able to function without the help and support of our teachers. |

Jim Isom has provided the team with professional quality videos as well as coming in on weekends to help out with the progress of the robot. His contributions to the team have enabled us to make top quality presentations to our community. | |

Ron Boyd has helped with the mechanical aspects of the robot design. He has 20 years of machinist experience and has a degree in Computer Engineering Technology A.A.S. from Stark State College of Technology and is on their robotics team for 2007 and 2008. |

Rusty Adams is a mechanical engineer at Good Year. He has a B.S.,M.S., and a PhD from The University of Texas at Arlington. This is Rusty's second year on team 1386 and he has become a major participant in the mechanics portion of the build season. | |

Greg Stehulak is an engineer at The Timken Company.He has a degree in mechanical engineering at Ohio State University. This is his fifth year in First Robotics and his first on team 1386. He's helped us with the design of the wheels and drive system. |

Vern Sproat is an electrical engineer. He's an assistant professor at Stark State College of Technology. Vern has a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. This is his fourth year in First Robotics and second on team 1386. Vern is a valued member of the electronics portion of our team. | |

Fred Connelly is a Chemist at Star Bronze. Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from North Dakota State University with a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. He works on mechanical parts of the robot. This is his second year on the team. |

Cameron Kennedy has a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University. He works at the Timken Company as a Mechanical Engineer. He has been working on the mechanical portions of the robot. This is his first year in FIRST robotics and on this team. | |

Tim Seeley is an engineer at Lockheed Martin. He has a Computer Engineering degree at the University of Akron. He helps with our electronics and sensors. This is his first year with our team. |

James Copus has a Bachelors and Masters degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State. He works at Lockheed Martin as a software engineer on fighter trainers. He helps with the electronics and software, this is his first year in FIRST Robotics. | |

Steve Sedlock is a sophomore at The University of Akron. He was on the very first 1386 Trobots team. He has been a mentor for two years now and has been a large part of the design and arm construction. When he's not with the team he's a Senator on Associated Student Government at Akron U. He's also an R.A. for his dorm at Akron. | |

Nathan Aukerman is a Freshman at The University of Akron. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and is a 2007 graduate from Wooster High School. While at Robotics he works on the arm construction. In his spare time he builds Baja racing cars, cross country, and paint ball. |

Christina Ramirez is a sophomore at Stark State College of Technology. She is majoring in Web Design and took post secondary classes at Timken. She graduated from Timken in 2007 and also created last year's website for the Trobots. She now mentors students to create the website you see before you. In her spare time she mentors other high school students in a Christian Organization called Younglife and occasionally plays video games. | |
